You definitely have a point here. I missed on this one and feel badly about it. But, it happens.
Obviously, I didn't get my point across super well. I'm a pretty "live and let live" person so the idea of constant travel, being a nomad, whatever, is actually appealing.
My point here was merely that I don't think we should allow our perceptions of cities to be created (largely, significantly?) by people who really don't live in a place long term. Setting up shop for a year or two (or less or a little more) isn't the same as, say, my experience in San Francisco.
I do think this matters and that I have a point. I just seriously botched the presentation and delivery.
