Yep. And it's unfortunate because on the other side of this very real reality for the consumer, there's the issue of paying employees living wages as profits effectively flourish at many large chains. At the local level, I really think there's need to be more government intervention, via targeted subsidies and such, to ensure hospitality thrives. But, this is America so I'm clearly asking too much.
