Very good way to look at it. I agree. This is definitely a huge element of what we're seeing. Rarely do you see honest discussions about inflation and such in political circles, because any honest discussion would put into question the American way of life, big time.

That said, on the ground, all people know and really can concern themselves with is what whatever is doing to their pocketbooks. We're effectively the blind having been led by the (disingenuously) blind for a long while now.
