Thanks for the response. I can see how the vibe of my article gives the impression that I can't find good places to eat. There are quite a few here in Los Angeles. It's just that , increasingly, prices are out of control and the quality of the food and service isn't keeping pace. Especially when we compare prices/quality/experience to Spain or Italy. Also, I worked in hospitality and have a passion for it, so I agree with your thoughts on service and supporting the industry.
