I'm unsure.

It's something I have thought about. But, the funny thing is if Trader Joe's proposed opening in the neighborhood I'm sure there would have been resistance. Which is weird, because local isn't always better, especially when it's not actually local.

That said, I'm sure they could find a space. A less than 10-minute walk away there's a block with McDonald's, Chick Fila and Taco Bell.

Even Whole Foods would have been better than this place, price wise. Their private label stuff is competitively priced. And they would have hired more people.

This particular lot was likely to small for Whole Foods, but I think Trader Joe's might have been able to make it work.
