I don't invest in stocks, but, in my opinion, the best way is to regularly put a few dollars in a broad market ETF, such as SPY, which is made up of the S&P 500 companies. Ben Le Fort is somebody you should read though. He runs this publication. He does great stuff, regularly, on investing.
