How’s that one share of Tesla working out for me?

I recently illustrated my rationale for buying one share of Tesla. The position is up 40 percent.

It’s the ultimate story stock. P/E ratio means nothing. The biggest risk Tesla faces is Elon Musk doing something impulsive. Even if he does, Tesla bulls will give him a pass the way Trump supporters do for their leader. The difference — Elon Musk actually has something good going.

I’m comfortable with my experiment of buying one share — or fractional shares — of stocks with high price tags. I might do likewise with Amazon.
